There are two ferries to get to the island. You can either take the ferry from West Seattle (Fauntleroy) or from Tacoma (Point Defiance). We always recommend arriving early to the ferry because they can be unpredictable.

Something cute and festive! Farm cocktail chic, if we must be exact. Late September on Vashon Island can get chilly at night, so be aware and bring something warm to wear post dancing. We will have space heaters available and fire pits :)

Also it is a farm so wear shoes that will not sink into grass!

There are no hotels on the island, so the best options are to rent an Airbnb or VRBO on Vashon so you can party without worrying about catching the ferry back to Seattle / Tacoma.

If you’re flying, it may be most convenient to stay in Tacoma where there are plenty of lodging options!

• visit Point Robinson lighthouse

• whale watching from the beach!

• eat at Gravy (our caterers!), May Kitchen + Bar (really good Thai food), Lunetta Pizzeria (delicious pizza and very cozy atmosphere).

• get pastries and coffee at Cafe Vino Olio.

• wander through the Vashon Bookshop
